Southampton => Newbury to see Nan. Then on to Reading for dinner with Mum, Sis and Neice.  

Will be on tomorrow evening. Driving all over by 7ish. Which, as it happens, is Beer O'clock tomorrow

Well, at 03:30ish there's 3 users - Skruntie (surprise!), Dispondent1 and me.  But 8 guests!!!  Who on earth...

Just seen the youngest off on his hols - he's going to the USA for a couple of weeks.  Christmas Day flights are cheaper, apparently, but they changed the departure time to 08:50, so he's had to leave Suffolk at 03:00 to ensure he gets to the airport on time.  Found out at the last minute that they'd changed the airport as well as the time - now flying from LHR instead of LGW.  Pity he booked and paid for his parking at Gatwick.

Fortunately, the friends he's going with live in Brighton, so they can pick him up at Gatwick on their way to Heathrow.  Which works out OK, as the return flight goes to LGW.  Thought I'd be running the Omega taxi service in the middle of the night, so I had a lucky escape.

Finished my soup, I'm off to bed now.
