Let's face it -- any private company couldn't be as inept as the government at handling computer data. The problem lies in that they will throw half the money it needs and want the job done in half the time it should take .... THEN, they will wonder why it has gone t*ts up....AGAIN !!!

Wanna bet? :)

But no private company stands a chance - civil servants never make decisions on projects like this, as they don't want to be identified as the originator of the ensuing cock-up.  As a result, the project will be underspecified, such vague requirements as do emerge will be changed with sickening regularity and (corollary to Murphy's Law) what can be re-organised will be re-organised.

What fun!

This must be stopped, it is an evil and involves storing every phone number you call, web site you visit, text message and email.

You will have more freedoms in China very soon!

IF it gets built it needs to be destroyed >:(
