Bloody seats!
« on: 01 January 2009, 15:22:32 »

Just sat in the car, thinking... Whats that burning smell...

Then notice the passenger seat is still on... (must have been turned on last night & not switched off)

AND smoking

AND on fire...  (Leather now cooked on lower part of the back, all warped & twisted...)

 >:(

So pulled the 2 fuses relating to the heated seats... Great I thought, they won't work now (tested, no lights)...

But now the windows dont work, the central locking just flashes & does nothing else... AND the key-in-ignition warning buzzer will *not* shut up...

So, fuses back in, everything now works again, and I'll disconnect the seats later on (which plug is it btw?)

Might just hunt down some facelift leathers now (if they will work in regards to memory)

Bloody typical >:( I can see this year getting more and more expensive/annoying already...

WHY can't the heated seats disengage when the ignition is OFF so they don't come on again when you start the bloody car the next day >:(
