Fort William a great place to see get on the Ullapool road visit Rogie Falls, do the steam train from Fort William to Mallaig. Go past Ullapool and visit Eilean Donan castle, visit any distillery you can stagger to. Go and have a look at Ben nevis I've been there 6 times and only seen the summit once from the ground. Take wet weather gear that's why Scotland is so green.Go to Inverness get Google earth and see lots more have a great time the misses and I are going in August she has never been. Hope that is some help

Jim :) :) :) :) :)

If you catch the weather on a nice day ten minutes there is no place like it. Rest of the time it's miserable. ;)

Seriously, though, there are some fantastic roads. I'll let those with the local knowledge tell you where because in all honesty I've only been tagging along when I've been there, and my mind has been flowing from one bend to the next, and paying attention to little else. If you have a passion for driving take to a few of the back roads.  :y
