The thing is that a PM's job is as a Public Figure, somebody who can communicate well and has a level of confidence about their persona.....you need some one who can go to other countries to represent the UK and not end up looking like some wet fart!

The queen does this very well!

and costs us a fortune :(

I suspect she brings far more wealth in than she costs!

Try Maths on a Monday morning at 9.00 am after pound a pint night at the Gooseberry Bush!

Don't tell me Mark but it was Genius sorry Guinness!! :D :D :D ;)

IIRC, it was 80p a pint for snakebite and black at the time. :-X

Then back to the halls of residence to see if we could get everybody's Hi-Fi playing the same Meatloaf CD in exact synchronisation. ::)

In my opinion who ever has the job of PM has a pretty much impossible task trying to please everybody mainly because of the old adage "You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time".

Although having said that i do believe that Brown is a bit of a wet blanket and could do with a serious amount of life illumination :(.
Dont need to please all of the people all of the time, just enough people in the key marginals on  polling day.
I never underestimate the gullibility of the electorate or the depths of dishonesty to which politicians will stoop. :(
