I try to park as far from other cars as is humanly possible.  ...... .

...... and someone still parks in the space next to you!  :-?  :y

You are right, invariably you come back to the car and it has attracted all the rubbish  ;D ;D

Whenever I park my Omega in a car park.................I always try and park next to new ....expensive ......undamaged cars.

This way my car tends to keep it's good looks......as people with new cars tend to be very careful with their expensive new purchase.

So far ...........has worked like a charm..........so far. :y

If you park between a J Reg Astra.........and a battered old Cavalier pound to a penny there's a big dent in you car when you come back from shopping ;D :D

Of course .........this does not mean that a woman with a brand new range Rover won't scrape the Omega.......as women can't park.....it's a fact. :y :y :y

Yes us women with standard cars can Optimist, but it those in 4x4's who frequently can't, and I certainly NEVER park next to them!! ::) ::) :D ;)

I park in the parent and child bays, and before you lecture me, yes I have a kid, just not always with me...  ;D ;D

The soft toys and kiddy seat oin the back (occupied or not) deter any questions being asked.

Not having a pop mate just stating a fact.....the next time i see someone park up in a parent and child space with no kid im going too smack them.

No end of times ive had too squeeze into a space thats not wide enough too open both rear doors (Twins so need access both sides) because some self-abuser cant be arsed too go find a normal space....bloody makes me furious.

i park in the disabled bays.......when i have my wife with me...she has a blue badge

other than that i park next to something dearer than mine.....or another Omega

In the Alfa i do the same, and many time i have come back and found another Alfa parked next to it, if that's the case i can be pretty sure mine is undamaged.

I cant stand those muppets who take up 2 parking spaces  >:(

How do you know he hasn't driven to collect the family from the car park or has just dropped them off at the front door of Tesco/etc?  :-?
The spaces weren't around when I needed room either side of my car for both my kids ..... 13 months between them! ;)

Ce la vie!  ;)  ;)  ;)
I do take delight in parking as close as possible to the muppets that can't park in just one space encroaching the space next to them, so that they can't open their door ..... only when I'm in the Astra though.

Seen plenty of single people roll up park...bugger off and come back alone and go.

The elderly couple (sorry too anyone in the 40"s) who had a two seater porsche...the transit works van with bob the flaming builder in....follow my drift.

Obviously there folks who may arrive alone and pick there little un"s up...ive done it myself but out of respect for people who need them i avoid them if im alone.

Wonder how the porsche driver would feel after ive slashed his tryes.... ;)

It can backfire sometimes.............I once parked next to......and at the same time as a shiny new BMW M5.......I noticed that after he thought that I had walked away......he came back and moved it.

It should be an honour for any car to be parked next to my Omega......but some posh bastards don't see it that way. :-/ :-/ :y

As said .... been there  .... done that with 2 of them. All with 'normal' spaces. I don't use them .... but don't really see the need for them either.  :-X

i tend to park in the overflow car park if there is one alternatively on the end of a row and over a bit.
last year i had to laugh, a stupid woman parked her car within a fag paper width away from mine and her kid promptly opened their door onto my rear door with a thud. after hearing it i got out and checked if there was any damage and the woman immediately said "they couldn't help it they are only a kid" to which my 12 year old said "does that mean i can scratch your car and it doesnt matter" - i was struck dumb and so was the woman !!!
there was no damage to my car it knocked the bumper strip...... :o :o
