vauxhall dealer dont sell parts WTF

Just been to my local dealer  (arnold clark Alloa)  for parts i needed while doing my rocker cover gaskets  only to be told they dont sell spares!!
they told me they stopped doing parts about 6 months ago and i had to go to the Stirling dealer  Stirling to get spares.
 I am totaly gobsmacked
i wonder if Arnold Clark is feeling the credit crunch or something?

having said that, the local Hyundai dealer doesn't/didn't do parts either, you've to go a few miles to Bolton to the bigger dealer.

The local (to me) Uncle Arnold VX dealership does spares (last time I was there, a few months ago) but does not do trade club.  Have to go to Peter Vardy for that....

This sounds about right, my local couldnt even supply the apporpriate battery for my MV6 when i had it.

Often had nothing but basic service parts in store.

Then one day, or should i say one night, they just dissappeared and later turned into an Aldi supermarket. :-[
