Cheers for the link STMO, very interesting and tempting. However I may have just secured a Euro trip car and collecting it this weekend  :-X

I notice it has a broken rear lens. Check price and availability, IIRC these cost a fortune. No doubt LB would know.

Well he is a Baron.  Just add 2 flags to the front wings and he'll look the part.  I like it.  :y

Good point made, and i'll tel you why i don't want to take it:

Its still worth a lot, over 2k and i like it. spent a lot of time and effort getting it running nicely.

However, if i take it and someone bumps into me or i hit something. Which is highly likly on that MAD thing in Paris, not going to attempt to spell it. Also driving it Italy and Portugal there is a high chance i will have a bump, and i would be upset if my megga was hit.

Also its a 2.2, which we know is not rapid. I'd like to drive like hooligan  ;) - Generally have something to thrash.

Germany i'd like to sit at 140 all day long, 2.2 won't do that.

There will be 3 of us for most of the trip, and one of them is a BIG guy. So 3 people, loads of gear, pda's laptops, big tent, camping gear ect ... going to be a lot of weight, plus lots of motorway miles i fancy a big V6 or Straight 6 to pound the motorways.

Lastly, i'd like to park someware and not worry about it getting dented, which i would do on my 2.2...

All good points.  The Parisiens have no regard for parking and there's an unwritten rule that you don't apply the handbrake - that way when the next guy comes to park, if there isn't enough room he'll just bump you up till there is.  I've seen it wiv me own peepers guv.  (and all the mini's had bull bars and rear light protectors).  So happy hooliganism in your V6
