So, to put everybody out of there missery....

We suspect that early climate panels only work upto a manual fan speed of 5 but, this can be upgraded to 9 with a software update (via Tech2 and the excellent prices from The Boy).

The software update also significantly improves the standard operation and control of system as well.

Mine was registered in Dec '95 & has always gone to 9, unless it was upgraded before I got it.....
