From what the CCTV shows, the guy drives on to the site, walks into reception which is a good 200 metres away from the site entrance, looks over the desk then lifts the keys. I know it sounds wierd but thats what happened. If the keys had not been there would he have tried to get the keys some other way?

Hope you don`t loose yer job,I reckon you were setup,had the van just been dropped back off hire and the hirer oossibly saw where you dropped the keys.

I know I'm in for a servere B*****king but I hope thats all. A customer came in just before him to look at some vans but I think that they were unconnected as He was a regular customer, but you never know.
