You can buy all that stuff. Some years ago I had an old Bedford J series Ambulance, the horns did not work, popped down the ambulance garage, they recognised it, had been one of theirs, and gave me some new ones. :y

Well, the wiring harness seems to still be in place for em - there's a button next to the handbrake which I assume used to operate them.  It took the live feed from the F14 wire to the ciggie lighter (which I have since repatriated to its correct location for sat nav purposes), but I'm sure it's nowt a bit of soldering can sort.

Could be very interesting - for show purposes/OOF Meets only obviously!  ;)

My old boss bought an Ambulance! It was labeled up and had the two tones, strobes the lot still! All working too...

Was such a laugh one night going home! I was following him with lights going and sirens every now and then  ;D

(Was on a 'private' road of course  ::))

 ;D ;D

Right, so you need a white cap sitting on the dash :y Used to put mine on the rear shelf of a Rover P6, no one ever questioned a white P6 :y

Ahh, them were the days - you couldn't get away with doing owt like that these days without expecting to end up doing a bit of bird...  :-[  :(

But me last Miggy was white, which was great fun on the motorway.  Used to have spells of cruising at 60mph in the inside lane - the kids used to find it hillarious to see Beemers, Audi's etc in the outside lane slam on when they saw us  :D

The cap was perfectly legal, Sea Scouts :y Used to have a Company Cortina, white with a blue vynal roof, company colours :-[ I put roof bars on, so a glance in the mirror saw a flash of blue and something on the roof :y
