Visit to the car auction last night.
« on: 31 January 2009, 20:12:58 »

I went along to price up some possible replacements for swmbo's car which she has gladly, sadly written off.

Looking thru the usual guff, I found a rarity. An almost mint Miggy.

The last Mig I saw at an auction, I bought. :-)

I had a look round it, and apart for some very minor scuffs on the front bumper corners. It was mint.

MOT Jan 2010, P/S/H, shinbuster.
2.2 CD Auto, rather nice light pearl green with black cloth.
No smoky smells inside, 81k.

Engine was virtually silent, a very well looked after car. IMHO.

Oh yeah, it was a 2001 Y reg.

How does 625 sound?

Do you think its worth it?

I'm still working on her taking my Mazda, giving me some dosh for a plaything.

If it's what you're looking for then have it! It's a great price and, if it's as good as you say, how can you go wrong? Good luck.

Going to auction on Monday probably, went Monday before last and there was a silver Mig GLS there, 110K no tax sept 09 MOT but, mankey climate buttons all were white, boot didn't open from button inside, and it was a lot higher one side than it was the other rust on rear wing and a loud clonk when the bloke put it into drive, the back bumper was chipped to hell (so would say it could've been in a rear end shunt before) Went for £550 was an Xreg 2.2.
Back on topic 625 sounds a good price m8.

Yeah bud, central. It was Intercity I got mine from.

Central had some steals going thru last nite. 51 plate Veccy's, 1 black estate 1.8, 1 silver hatch dti. Both good cond, both sold for 450 each.

Pretty good, but how about a mint 2003 1.6 ls astra, decent mileage, good mot......... 975!!!

Dont get me wrong there was some stuff which I think was a tad overpriced, but still.
