Ive killed it this time...nearly

My dell laptop that is........

Word of warning tho......do not do what i did to it!!

Keyboard was becoming a bit iffy due to past accidents  :-[

And as i was about to rebuild it with a bigger disk....i thought before i start i will clean the keyboard....

Hmmmm now what to clean it with.....should i pop out to computer shop and buy some keyboard cleaner??

Or i know what to use.....ive used it on cleaning rubber breather pipes on the omega so should be ok.....

Wrong!!  >:( carb cleaner melted just about all the rubber on the keyboard in sight!  >:(

So one keyboard in the bin (and aint i glad i removed it from the laptop first!) and bidding on a replacement keyboard on ebay  :y

Still looking on ebay the keyboards go for about a tenner so isnt bad....

Just dont go using CARB CLEANER to clean your keyboards  ;D

Carb cleaner ate my heavy duty marigolds after devouring my latex gloves - never heard of it eating keyboards before though........... but then who would try it....... nice one TD.  ;D

But heres a thought.....if it melted the rubber on my laptop keyboard....whats it doing to the rubber breather pipes  :-/ :-/

Bloody broadband went down >:(  It's ok now though, I've given the hard drive a squirt of Carb cleaner and it's fine now  ;D
