As it says woke up this morning to find out that i cant go to work as the a38 is closed

The army is helping to rescue 200 people on the A38 this morning...I`m just watching sky news... :o

OMG hubby is at RAF st MOrgan is he going to be able to get back to yeovil.......hope so my son will be gutted other wise.....as me we had plans for tonight  ::):'( :'( :'(

He won't need to go on the A38, depends whats occuring on the A30, 4 or 5 miles of minor roads from St Mawgan to the A30, A30 all the way to the M5, although if it is bad there are some mahoosive hills on that road. :(

I was due to go to Wells this morning ---- couldn't even get to the end of my road --- phoned them and there's a blizzard there.

TBH Marie -- and I know it's a bummer, he would be better off staying at St Mawgan and then at least you will know he's safe. The roads are pretty treacherous.

M5 has been closed between junc 30 -31 and its down to one lane from 30 to 22.

god i cant even get hold of him to warn him..

i would prefer this but i know what hes like. if it was me i would stay. but its only going to get worse as the day goes on and i dont even want to thik what its going to be like later when it starts to freeze again.
