Does anyone know the secret method of resetting the service symbol on a T reg xsara VTR ?

Done the oil and filters myself but cant remember how to get the symbol to go away. Its My ma's car so Its kindof important.

depending on the dash
if you hold down the mileage reset button and keep it held down
turn the ignition on but dont start the engine
a timer should count down from 10 when it reaches 1 it goes to 2 lines
let go of the button, turn off the ignition and then turn back on the ignition and start the engine
service light should be reset

Just found it on the net after having another google, had to press the button for 5 seconds til the spanner started flashing, then the interval reset
