is this worth it & how good?

my p,c decided to go pop yesterday [fri 13th] so had to find a p,c pronto, spotted this so thought id go for it,,,,[350165958664] not a lover of flashing lights etc but the spec is better than mine was!, just want to know if its a bargain or not,,, im on my other halfs prehostoric p,c now but its so slow you can go to the pub, then to the cinema & perhaps a meal & when you get home it just might have booted up :D

u have to budget for a operating system to m8 unless u have a copy of xp at home or vista

It's very clever the way it detects wether you are trying to txt speak
or discussing bolt sizes.

not a problem with operating system or other software its just that when it comes to p,c`s its all got too complicated,[age thing!] im just hoping ive got a bargain as money is tight but do need a p,c so hope i havent paid over the top :-/

They seemed to lose their way ages ago.  But then any modern PC is fast enough for most tasks :)

Still, AMD are looking a bit dire financially. AMD own ATI.  Saying that, nVidia are not looking good - lost something like $150m in the last quarter :o

i only went for an AMD as somebody recommended them, at least its dual core which hopefully will help it chug along plus its got a warranty, just hoping the bloody fairy lights on it are turn offable :D, out of interests sake TB what would have been my best bet processor wise?
