At least no one is talking about the BR 100mph coil sprung fabricated bogie, (as opposed to the cast one).

You often see references then they wonder what you are on about when you chat about them.

Then they mumble about text speak what ever that is.

Just tried posting the phrase unserviceable (using the correct abbreviation):
u (as YOU is too hard to spell for me) (as YOU is too hard to spell for me) (as YOU is too hard to spell for me)/S

Clearly you made a mistake in your assumption of the abbreviation for unserviceable there Debs.

The correct one is...

breaked. :) ;D :o :y

Just thought I'd try out TB's new word filter as it's had me rolling about with laughter ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

m8 (I'm too gay and stupid to spell mate) (I'm too gay and stupid to spell mate)
u (as YOU is too hard to spell for me) (as YOU is too hard to spell for me)
l8 (Late is a word that is beyond my spelling age) (Late is a word that is beyond my spelling age)
l8r (later spelt wrong because I only type with my thumb) (later spelt wrong because I only type with my thumb)
r

Can't think of any more as I hate text speak ::) ::) :y :y

t x t
l 8
l 8 r
m 8

methinks there may be a flaw with the "t x t  s p k" word filter.

wonder how long its going to be before folks start complaining about all the repetitive comments inserted because us dafty's keep typing u (as YOU is too hard to spell for me) and u (as YOU is too hard to spell for me) and u (as YOU is too hard to spell for me)

Post count at this moment in time is 443 soon to sink to zero I imagine lol

I noticed that too. It gets longer each time a "quote" is used. Some fine tuning is in order.

We're an internet forum, it would be harsh to disable forum shorthand - most of these being in the post that describes them.  We are NOT a rather phone company (jeez, I sounded justy like that pillock from BT then).
