i did leave home for Uni.... but unless i get help i won't be able to buy anything.

Other option is to buy in London and walk to work, cut out my commute bill, but you need £230k for 1 bed flat!

I prefer it around here, get more for your money, ie 160k gets you a 3 bed semi in the country.

London 230k gets me a 1 bed flat.

Just crunched some numbers 200k mortgage is £1,400 ish a month on 7% rate, if i had a zero commute bill i guess that makes the better option  :-/

How much is a little 2 bed around here/buckingham?  bicester and chavsville will be more expensive as on the m40 and the slug line

What I am saying is.....expand your options beyond Brackley adn London......and why a 3 bed.

Your starting out and need to take a sensible approach!

MDTM is talking sense Tunnie.

Though Brackley was traditionally cheap to buy, that seems to be not the case any more.

What about Aylesbury - so many new houses there, must be pulling down prices, and its also on the slug line.
