bloody hell, quite overwhelmed with responses there.

if the front end kit can come in at under £400 then its a definate for my next car(hopefully a 3.2 saloon with bells and whistles) coupled with a tank then thats what i will budget for when i buy one.

the current car cost £350, i think it would be unwise to spend £400 on it as once i have a newer saloon it will be demoted to father inlaws weekly runner, to work on a monday morning, 6 miles, and then home on a saturday morning(lorry driver) then maybe a bit of w/end tip runs.

i have the kit available and its more of a tester type experience rather than wanting to make a perfect(commercial grade) installation. although as an ex gas fitter it will be done to the book on safety!

i will be giving it some thought and see how viable it is, i will need to look at the setup over the w/end a try and come up with a plan.

i'm looking forward to installing a sequential after seeing the pics, i love a neat installation, gives a better look than some of the rough things i have seen!

Agree with the logic... TBH is it even worth the effort of fitting it to the estate then??? :-/ :-/

speaking of fun, do you think it would be possible to mount the miggy on the rangerover chassis and put some 44 inch wheels on, monster truck style!

it'd tidy up all my cars into one big (mess) crazy car, obviously it'd be multi point!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Has any one informed thier insurance company of the conversion to LPG.  I have run A senator 24 v Now 4.0 jeep crand cherokee and a mig 3.0 on gas and when informing them of the conversions they want to know if you have doc's for the install and also inform DVLA of the conversion Just asking?

I informed both DVLA and Insurer ... DVLA sent me £10 and reduced my annual tax bill, Insurer wasn't interested once I said I had the stupid certificate and did they want a copy ... they were more concerned about the body kit than the LPG.

What evidence did you have to supply to the DVLA?

Did they need to see the certificate?

If memory serves me they were happy with a photocopy of the certificate, and the amended V5 ... I think it was "LPG" in Type of Fuel .. and "Alternative Fuel" in the Taxation class .. but it was nearly a year ago .......  and I am getting old ..... :)

All you do is inform the that in my case a dualfuel vehicle.
Changes To Current Vehicle on log book and send it in .Comes back
Fuel Type   Petrol/Gas.

May seem nothing but if something happens accident ect and it gets naughty someone is always waiting to stamp on your nuts.
