I'm lead to believe that the reason the laminated stuff "curls" is a slight difference in temperature between the top and bottom sheets, one contacts the hot roller, the other doesn't, so they end up slightly different.

Apparently, one way of sorting this is to send the item back through the other way up ... this means that both sides have had a "hot + cooler" run and they end up flat.

This came from a guy who does commercial printing and a fair bit of laminating for a living, I have no knowledge or proof that it works .... if you have a "spare" laminating pouch it might be worth a try ???

My laminator has a switch for 150micron and 250micron. The laminates used are 250. would it be safe to put the ones already laminated back though or would it cause meltdown? I may test one on the 150 setting but twice through but there isn't much I can do about the ones already done!!

Can't answer and he's left work .. :(  been playing with my cheapy laminator ... putting through twice on "high" does not cause melting.. as I left it until almost cold by the time it goes back in .. so it never gets that hot. On an A4 sheet it does seem to make a difference to the curl .. but its hard to tell as A4 doesn't curl that much anyway .. :(

Yes you had bud, I was just unsure if to put them through twice the heat had to be lower on each pass or full heat on both pass's, if you know what I mean  :y
