Thats My MV6 off the road
« on: 18 January 2007, 09:41:59 »

For today at least.

ITS SNOOOOOWING  ;D not heavy and not expected to last ( about 1inch) although i gather storms are forcast and any of our Northern Members may have significant amounts of Snow  :-/

And as we all know RWD V6 Omegas and Snow dont mix.

Worse still i am in a quite remote area and up the top of a hill

3 cheers For Suzuki Swifts  :D

I'm on the other side of the country from you Mark and its skelping down with snow here.

Wife left for work in her 206 about 0800 and her clean bit on the drive covered within a few minutes.

The sky box is locked up as theres loads of snow on the dish and receiver.

My car has a good 2 inches on it and thats in less than 2 hours.  Fully intending to go out for a play in a big factory carpark later today!!

B

ps - I like the snow - it makes my work in progress rear garden look as good as everyone elses!

Booo! No smow here!  >:(

Heck, there is no chance of it either!

In Derby it is bright, with patchy sunshine and a temperature of around 10 degrees c.

Oh, and it's a bit breezy.

Derby, centre of the uninteresting weather world!

Well, it was lying when we got up this morning, then it thawed and now it's chucking it down with huuuuuuge flakes.

Kind'a nice 'cos we don't get much snow where we are as we live about 3cm above sea level!!!

Time for you Jocks to get your AcmeOmegaSnowmobiles out!! ;) ;D

Never had the opportunity to try my Omega out in the snow 'cos we rarely get any!  :-? When we do, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, grinds to a halt. At the moment down here in the south east it's just peeing down (as usual) and bloody windy. :(

Last 'proper' snow we had here (not that it was more than 3 or 4 inches) was that about 3yrs ago, and the south came to a standstill.  The MV6 coped well - put box in snow mode, light on the gas, and only occasionally did TC light up...
