depends if you are happy with the car as it is
some people love the comfort  and others prefer a firmer more "sporty" ride.
if you fancy better cornering they go uprated
if not just replace the snapped spring

ive got a knackered back so i think its going to have to be comfort, that being the case I'm thinking that VX would be the way to go unless anyone has a better idea

i don't believe she was driving at normal road speed when she broke the spring ,but i haven't mentioned that yet ,I'll let her think shes got away with it for a while

Don't go genuine Vx... Get aftermarket pattern ones

I got aftermarket springs for the back of SWMBO's Astra as Vx's prices were sky high. Only difference, apart from the massive difference in price, is that the after market were not progressive like the OE were ie not tapered in diameter at either end.
