Really....didnt think they took much running.

Any idea what the consumptions like. :-/

Oh and less of the text/slang speech please....we do have standards round here sonny.

I'm using cctv..really costs serious ..so use a high capacity low consumption disk (5400 rpm or less)  a low consumption cpu and a  silent psu.. and also you can use movement detection ..

laptops : never seen any laptop with cctv card..

you can get a usb 1 that will take 4 cams
you will soon burn the laptop out

is it recording multiple cameras ?

also consumption depends on the harwdare spec.. even if its recording..
