Another year another MOT
« on: 25 February 2009, 11:27:23 »

But the old girl lives for another year thats two years in a row with no problems .
Just a couple of advisorys this year rear tires getting low and rear pads will require changing in the near future . I can live with that ,and even better I was told she looks like a new car , maybe that was the polishing at the weekend  ::)

Well done. It is amazing what a clean and a polish does. That was a tip from Omegatoy! ;D ;D

Present it clean, make it look its cared for, and also nicer job for the tester then, rather than battling against all the cowshit mines normally splattered with...

Maybe so, but you just explicitly stated he granted an MOT pass without testing the car! Doesn't matter how many years you've known him, this is downright dangerous and surely illegal.

I'm afraid I agree... I was fair when I did MOT's and would let small things go with certain people, because I knew they'd be done before the car was put back on the road, but I'd never just pass something. :o :o :o

As a precaution, we wouldn't even MOT our own cars, just in case there were any accusations thrown about ::) ::)
