Mrs TB is going out to meet one of her mates for a meal, so I have to fend for myself.

A long difficult day at work, I think I've earned something really, really nasty :)

today what happened ?
One of those days where nothing went entirely to plan.  One of those 'character building' days...

Oh lord, we had a recent one of those, we all had to make towers in teams....  :-/

I'll happily join you for a curry if you can get to Cardiff in the next hour  ;D

Was always brought up with "Breakfast, Dinner, Tea" - however once I was allowed out of my cotton wool (kidding), I adopted "Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner".

I don't usually care what it's called, as long as there's some grub in front of me :y

You could well be correct.

Perhaps it is down to my aristocratic upbringing :-* :-* :-*

the planned work early this morning didn't entirely go to plan, which is a problem on a platform processing 150,000 queries per second.

The other server decided it would be a hoot if it corrupted it / partition.  I'm afraid I disagreed, esp after I had to recreate a shit load of config files

Then a conference call about the company wide paycut just to improve moral.

Then a fireware issue that took a load of effort to pinpoint, and finished the day trying to decommision a server, ony to find the local ops team have already recovered the network cables, so I can't wipe the disks, which always causes paperwork.

Traditionally the english middle classes consider breakfast as Brekky, midday meal is lunch not dinner, tea is sandwiches, cake & pot of tea 4pm ish, dinner or supper is your evening meal.
   Living room is as it says not front room or lounge. Drawing room is were the gentlemen of the table retire for brandy & cigars after dinner.
    Toodle pip old chap!!!!!!! ::)
