Would't dream of it TB !  :o

If it make you feel better I now have two new rear discs, pads and h/brake shoes sitting in my garage that were not really needed.
I checked the discs last week and they were glazed, stained and somewhat tired, looking so I bought new set to fit before the MOT was due. Then I looked at my current certificate and noticed it had expired on Feb 21st. Doh !
Fortunately my usual test centre was able to fit me in today.

I'm going to fit them anyway, but that's typical of my luck, buy something I think I need urgently, when I can least afford it, and find there was no panic in the first place.
