Nokia 6300 phone help
« on: 27 February 2009, 22:35:38 »

Am not into mobiles at all and only have PAYG.

Chance to move on from my 3210i to a Nokia 5300 for peanuts.  I have known the phone from new and is all boxed and complete.

2 questions.

Whats the max size and type of memory card will it take.

All so, will it run the Tomtom GPS  software on it.  (I have a tomtom GPS blutooth reciever allready)

TIA  :y :y :y

Missus has one of these, or at least until she just upgraded to an N85......

They take Micro SD cards so check on Egay for sizes, I know at least 8gb is available.

No it wont work TomTom, as it isnt a Symbian based smartphone.

Great phones though to be honest.

Cheers, I do have loads of older phones but they are a bit bulky, but I liked this one from the 1st day my mate got it.

I also have an Ngage with some games and videos on it that I havent used for ages, plus annother Nokia that I got tomtom on and allthough its a camera phone  its not as slimline as the 6300.  Both the Ngage and the tomtom phone I got at good prices after my mates have upgraded. :y

Yep, the 6300 is a nice little phone. Nicely weighted and feels nice to hold. Good all rounder.

Only reason I am upgrading is coz the 3510i is a bit of a tight fit on the inside jacket pocket.
