SWMBO'S New Car
« on: 28 February 2009, 15:09:43 »

Well, after much hassle from the insurance company, we have bought this.

54 Megane Dynamique 1.5 Dci.
Its not too bad, a little sluggish for my liking, but at motorway speeds its pretty good, but the 2 best things are, easy 60mpg and £35 RFL.

Taken some piccies from autotrader, but the colour/model etc is identical.

The hole is there, but offset by the fuel consumption.

1.2 ibiza was costing her 10-15 bucks per week in fuel.
The megane cost a fiver for the first week!

£50 to fill the tank and the computer gave a range of over 750 miles!

Wish my mig would have done that.

Oh yeah, and we did get a really good deal. One of those ones where we had to get it in writing to make sure they wouldn't back out of it.

Being an ex-car salesman comes in handy from time to time. :y
