Petrol Station Mayhem

Thought I would share this with you all. This is just down the road from my work. I did wonder whether my mother was involved when I read this... :D

Who, the girl in the petrol station or my mother?! ;D

If she's anything like my mother I'm not at all surprised. I once had to drive about 10miles to a petrol station after my mother phoned me to say the petrol cap on her new car was stuck. She didn't realise you had to push the button on the dashboard to open it.....! ::)

To my eternal shame, when I picked up my first QX, I sat on the petrol station forecourt for a good 20 minutes trying to find the fuel cap release ( I didn't have a manual to assist!). Looked in alll the usual places .... eventually found it UNDER the drivers door arm rest ---- annoyingly next to the boot release .... so was forever opening my boot to fill petrol !!!!!!

Haha, well I suppose I can't really complain, every time I've gone to the petrol station since I bought the mig I've parked, got out the car then had to get back in and drive back round to the pump on the other side - who's idea was it to put the petrol cap on the driver's side?! ;D

Best one was my Aunt Marge .... she worked on a petrol forecourt for a part time job, many years ago. A guy in a Beetle asked her to check his oil .... she looks under the bonnet and thought someone had stolen the engine !!!!

Wife's uncle tried to park her Dad's car into a thick hedge,he opened the driver's door so he could see where he was reversing to and nearly ripped the bugger off. SWMBO's Dad has a LEFT foot accelerator in his auto, the harder the uncle 'dipped the clutch' the faster to tried to go. The car ended up with a bent A post! :o
All beause he thought he knew best & wouldn't listen to the advise being given. ::)  ::)
