Oh dear this means more SLOW moving traffic on A & B roads, because the majority won't pull over & let folk go by

Unless they are members here - then they are going quite fast anyway!

Hmmm, I've seen a few Omegas being driven embarrassingly slowly pulling mobile bonfires.  No idea if they are members here though...

Certainly not me... Last summer I got fed up with a boy racer "giving it large" to his mates and embarrassed him by beating him away from the lights and then the next 2 roundabouts, complete with the Pikey Palace

Needless to say he didn't try again!

Must have cost you a fortune in crockery though - or do you use plastic?  

I once outdragged someone off the lights with an 8 metre long glider trailer (containing a glider) behind me. Happy he wasn't but it served him right for carving me up.

Nope... Proper crockery but stowed correctly so as not to move

Must confess the roundabouts were due to carrying some speed in, whereas Mr Boy Racer didn't have a clue

Ok, so you and the Mrs take the burger van to the lakes, and me and a mate go in my car with a tent in the back...

I would easily get 30mpg, same car pulling a van? 11-15mpg.

So just getting there you pump out twice the polution, not forgetting the 500 cars behind you all doing un economical speeds on winding A roads.

You still plug into power at a campsite using Microwaves, cookers, heaters, lights, fans, all the features a hotel room has.

You mention flights, you do know the new biggest jet in the world the Airbus A380 uses less fuel per passenger than a Ford Focus?

So is more environmently friendly to fly to say the south of France, than drive, dragging a burger van.

and the carbon footprint for building said A380 Very very much greater than for building my "tin-tent"
