Any German speakers? Debs perhaps?
« on: 06 March 2009, 20:17:38 »

I recently bought this trailer and I know there is a little work to do but I am not sure excatly what it is.  It could be the leaf spring or the supporting bar.

My German isnt good enough and Babelfish doesnt help enough either... can anyone help?

He just says it in 'bad condition' and suitable for 'a rebuilder'.....'no papers/plates'...so...'cash without questions'
No specifics on faults; just measurements. ;)

He does also mention 'another trailer for picking-up': but that my be him being a German worry-wort!......it looks ok, those leaf-springs look like leafers of a Sankey trailer: I wonder where one might obtain two sets of those?;D

I'm sure I can find some if they are shot.  Fleebay?  ;D ;D ;D

I reckon though they just need derusting and repainting plus a set of new U-bolts.  The bearings worry me the most as I dont know how well he has taken care of them.  Will take a grease gun with me just in case  :y

Google translate:
For you to make a bottstrailer I only recently bought myself to him for my cross rebuild machines, but since I now have something else, can and must be away. The trailer is located in a poor, handymen condition (see pictures) and is only to re-building, remodeling, ect suitable. The Electrik is somewhat in an orderly, length 5m width ca ca 1,7 m. He must be on a different trailers to be picked up because it is for him no papir let alone a name plate there. So just to even picking up the cash and there is no after negotiations. When asked are simple ab18uhr call 01633653408. Must inerhalb two weeks after auction end to be picked up.
Gibberish for me... ;)
