I'm not homophobic in the least, but I too would withdraw my daughter from this.

Think the comments left by people sum it all up quite nicely mate:1) Political correctness gone mad (not much of a shock there then)2)nothing wrong in perhaps spending some time on the subject with older pupils but wholly inappropriate for this age group 3)nice to see a blatant disregard for the rights of the parents and their views (again, no change there then)and 4)whatever happened to the 3 Rs? I would have removed my daughter, aged 8. As long as she is back in school the week later there is nothing the officials can do, regardless of what they say. And Court is a very very very long way down the line.
In my opinion it is ridiculous to be introducing such a subject at that age, their relationships are family ones, need no other complications. my daughter is friends with everyone, she sees no difference between boys or girls, black or white money or no money, blimy she even has a msn pal in Stoke and long may she be like that.

i agree, shouldnt be taught at such an early age, and if it is, its down to the parents not the education authority to decide what they should be taught in this subject but at a later stage in the life. i had a row with my sons school 2 yrs ago when he was being taught about the muslim and seikh way of life, i refused to allow him to be attend classas it was totally biased towrds the church of england and christianity. he leaves school this yr and the only religions he knows is everyones but our own. makes me sick that this govt allows this to go on all the time and your branded rascist or homophobic if you make a stand against it

I, too, would have removed my child from these classes. Why can't they let kids be kids ?  In present day Britain their adulthood is going to be tough enough, without robbing them of their childhood too !!!!!

So not only are they stating thats a man having sex with another man is ""normal"" there also promoting homosexual animals.

Ive very strong opinions of homosexuals...if two same sex people wish too have a sexual relationship then fine,no problem at all....what i disagree with is these perverts promoting the fact its NORMAL it is NOT normal.

If any of our parents were genuine  homosexuals then I/you wouldn't be here now....so i cannot understand how they can say it is normal.

I strongly feel they should bring back the law making homosexuality illegal....its only been legal since 1967 FFS and look at the mess were in now.

God help any teacher that dare try telling my boys that a man inserting his thingy into there bottoms is normal....id kill the teacher.!

Oh and just too add i find those who straight librel bleeding heart wasters who defend homosexuals even more replusive.
