when you lose your licence .....

 ....... because you've been a young stupid bugger who always knows best, and you have collected 6 points (for speeding) within 2 years of passing your test, will you have to go through another driving test before you get it back?
Just wondered! :y  :y




NB Use of the word young obvioulsy excludes me!  ;)  ;)  ;)

To the best of my knowledge yes..... it may even be an extended test...

yes you do my neighbours grandson has just resat his test for  geting 6 points in his first 2 years (well in 9 months for him) you also have to retake the theory test as well

Yes I have had to do it, I passed my test just after the new legislation came in, got caught twice once doing 35 in a 30 zone and another doing 36 in a 30 zone.
So I can say I sat my driving test 5 times and passed twice ::)
but not had any points since  ;)

Yip 6 points means your licence is revoked.Start again from scratch.
Also if you get caught doing over 100mph within your 2 years its the same as the 6 points accumulation.
A young guy i worked with got to 3 weeks to the end of his 2 years probationary period and got clocked at 103mph on the......(A well known motorway,but i cant type the name of it! >:( >:() in Glasgow.... instant 6 month ban and start your test again......
