As you will have discovered already you can walk carefully on the flat of your foot without flexing your ankle. But be careful! That puts other muscles/ tendons etc. under strain, and watch your back muscles.
Just takes things very easily.

You can do the shopping on the net, I did that last week, had it all delivered, why or why have I not done that before??

Hehe, I have been pretty good, started using the delivery service the middle of December and fully agree with you.

PS. A walking stick will help and be more convenient than crutches.

Just takes things very easily.

Am learning as I go, currently limping/hobbling very slowly when am on my feet which is as little as possible.  Just dreading the stairs but will have to tackle them before long.   :-/

Doctors just been out, Seems its not a tendon issue or I would not be able to move my foot at all she recckens.  Have rested the leg since last night, she has confirmed what to keep eye on, and the nurse will be keeping an eye on me for the rest of the week.

One of the nurses is DDG and in all honesty has better looks and figure than any picture I have ever posted on the forum.

Well the Doc said I hadnt damaged a tendon, but never actually came up with a cause for what caused it.  The problem subsided over 24/48 hours but left with a little bit of pain as I walk on it.

Been out again today, a bit of a nip in the air and the sodding pain has come back and got the better of me again.

So it seems to be muscle/cold air weather related.  Still, could be worse, but bloody inconvienient time wise and sore.    Ah well.

Been off the road myself last few weeks, again :'( :'( went out a couple of times to get some exercise and use a walking stick :'( Lost a Stone and a half in 3 weeks, down to 9 stone now, getting a bit scary. Doc's tomorrow.
