Get another Omega, 8K will get a bloody good one and plenty to spare for any work in the future.

also im fairly sure the wheels on the BMW are of an old E36 M3

E46 Ci's usually had BMW MV2 wheels on them

I'm sure you know, but still worth to remind any repair on those cars will cost you megabucks.. So double check them by any means..
