Is there a problem with Signums?
« on: 10 March 2009, 00:37:18 »

Seen this, seems good value to me and they will give me PX on the Gallant. For swmbo so RWD/FWD makes no diference, seems a lot of car for the money.

Quite like the shape but, obviously, prefer RWD hence I've got am Omega.  They do suffer from wheel scrabble a bit when you want to put the power down but grand for the Mrs on the shopping/school type run.

Quite a few desirable options fitted but the interior does look a bit cheap, especially compared to Omega/Senator/Carlton, to my eye, but there again, I'm an old fart....   :)

Have your driven a V6 Gallant, a pain in the wet for a quick get out at a junction, even with good tyres, great car though :y

Clever photography to hide the fact that I dont think as an estate its on par with the Omega estate. I may well be wrong.

Never been in one but I seem to remember the 4 door having no boot space, so to me the estate doesnt look that big .  Wrong wheel drive.  But I agree, a lot of car for the money.

Boot space not a problem, we still have a Mig and a C4 7 seater thing if we need space. :y
The Gallant is a great car, off the road at the mo, needs a new battery which I have, just not up to fitting at the moment, problem is how much money do i keep throwing at a fab car but worth only a few hundred pounds, sounds like I am talking about a Mig really. :y

Once you learn how to use the auto box they are a seriously fast car, that is the problem, at what stage do you decide to stop spending and upgrade

When Iwas looking for a new car when the prelude had to go, it was a choice between a gallant v6 and the mig v6. Thought the Gallant a very nice car too but chose the mig as slightly younger and slightly better nick but I do seem to recall that spec and performance wise they were about on parr?
