And don't forget ... all miggies will REMAIN band K as a maximum .... unless of course you have found an unregistered one and registered it after March 2006 ... :)

Read the bit marked *... it is very important to all V6 miggie owners .. :)

The little bit of good news (in the rip-off world of road tax and punitive fuel tax) is that I'd guess all Omegas would be registered before 23 Mar 06 so the maximum band they will fall into is K, ie £210 now, £215 in 09/10 and £245 in 10/11.

Read it properly ... the CO2 figure is the one tha VX supply and is written in your log book  V5 ... nowt to do with MOT at all.  :)   and the two posts above your last one .. :)

no where near £400   ... :)

It's based on the official figures - if it chicks out more it'll probably fail it's MOT!

To find out the CO2 emissions of your car, you can either:
check your registration certificate (V5C)
or enter the make and registration mark of your car into the online ‘vehicle enquiry’ section on DVLA’s Electronic Vehicle Licensing website   here

They run it from cold on a rolling road for the equivalent ob 10km.

That is all it is.

The cold start rev up mode does not help here
