Looking for a large fresh fish market
« on: 12 March 2009, 18:40:39 »

As title...the wife's been nagging me too take her too Billingsgate fish market in London but unfortunately they don't allow children under 12 on the floor.

Anyone know of any large fresh fish markets in England.

Distance not a major issue...but would need too cater for general public as well. :y

Shame you want one in England
There's a superb one in Seattle where they juggle the fish between counters!

Get your family down to Stanstead and onto a Ryanair flight to Cork in Ireland ((cheap as chips if you book it right ).Bus into City centre .20 mins , and visit the English Market .
It's the best fish and meat market I have ever been in. Catch lunch in the Market restaurant ( exquisite surroundings ,great service and the best of food at a very reasonable price ) wander around ,end up buying waaaayyy.....too much good food and then back to the airport for the return flight early evening.
The kids and the wife would love it . :y

I've just been to pick the wife up from an Ann Summers party. Smelt like a fish market in there.
