Still way out of my league, but irrelevant of price, condition etc. the e-mail response I received was polite, honest...and at gone half ten on a sunday night.
If it does go for the asking price, Lee is soooo gonna let us know

Hi Turk, just thought i'd give an honest idea of the response the car has had, first few days we had a number of emails from people questioning the price and as mentioned earlier in this thread some abusive stuff too!!
However as the week went on we have had atleast 3/4 very serious enquiries and one person inparticular is very keen on the car and a holding desposit is on the way, so subject to completion of the sale it looks like the Elite is sold
It goes to show that late model Elite's are very hard to come across and clearly have a healthy demand, because the serious customers who rang us up commented that they had been looking for months and months without any joy!! They said they did not find the new Signum or Insignia appealing whatsoever and only wanted Omega's!!
As good news as it is for us, I don't think we'll come across an example like this for a VERY VERY long time
When you compare the build quality and specifications against the "supposed" leading manufacturers, they should all sell for a heck of a lot more than they do. If the Omega was made by one of the German manufacturers it would have easily sold with another £5k+ on the price.
I suspect the abusive stuff was probably triggered by the defence of the price and the fact that they thought you were a typical rip-off dealer.
You're obviously not that bad, you drive a Mig.
(Mind you, had you been a VX Main Stealer...oh dear !!

)
Cars are worth what someone is prepared to pay, and for what you get compared to the "supposed" leaders in the executive car market, it's a bargain.
Let's just say the price was high...for what we here would pay.

Don't be a stranger.
