The government's top medical adviser has drawn up plans for a minimum price for alcohol which would double the cost of some drinks in England.

Under the proposal from Sir Liam Donaldson, it has been reported that no drinks could be sold for less than 50 pence per unit of alcohol they contain.

tesco beer is cheap and the pound is near enough matching the euro so booze cruises aren't needed.
but sticking this tax on is gonna bring the booze cruise tips back in fashion
do you get the impression that somewhere along the line our taxes may be invested somewhere in europe :-?

Two things i love, my chocolate & my lager. I have one chocolate bar & no more than two cans a day. If i can control what i have then why can't others?
Why should i pay more for my pleasure for the sake of others. The majority being penalized for the minority.
I say tax the fat pigs & give them the bill for their NHS stay in hospital, it's THEIR FAULT & certainly NOT MINE.
The government's short of cash because of their own stupid miss management & they need to bring in some more funds.

All i have to do is find a recipe for chocolate, because i make my own beer, then they can all break off.

there is always a car park out side my house which looking on the camera's its the same one's that are leaving there dirty needles

spoke to the council about moving us
and they just put us on a waiting list
we are on that house swap site now so just waiting for replys
