Treated myself today
« on: 22 March 2009, 19:55:45 »

I decided enough was enough & to stop struggling with the storage of my ever growing tool collection & i invested in these today. They're alright too :y

Anyone else have the same or similar?

I was given a 5 drawer one (like the first one, but no castors) - its green, so obviously ex-MOD!  Blooming handy, but not sure i'd pay the money myself.  I'm a sad git that still hit tools in the cases they came in...mostly [smiley=embarassed.gif]

I went through the stage of putting all my tool on show, hanging them on the garage wall ::) ::) but mostly stashed away now and just about everything else is on the walls, I need a bigger garage. ::) ::)

If I could justify them, I'd have the stainless steel tool chests that Costco have/had. They are/were expensive though.

I have a proper woodworking bench in the garage, cost me an extra £50.00 over the price of the house when we bought it ::) cavernous storage inside it though. Don't know what it is but the garage just seems to fill up, not matter how many times it is tidied, but then there is the extra fridge and the chest freezer and,,,,etc etc. :-[ :-[ ::) ::) :y
