Hi guys. Really need to get my cambelt changed for peace of mind. Bought my 2nd mig couple months ago,but it had no service history. 78k miles. And being a complete spoon when it comes to anything under the bonnet,i wouldnt dream of trying it myself! So can anyone recommend somewhere close to me ( dumfries,south west scotland )that wouldnt cost the earth? Cheers

It is recommended to use genuine Vx belt kit and rollers.  I've priced them up this week at £83+vat on Trade Club. Mine will be fitted by GW Auto's in Carlisle - last time the labour cost came in at £110 but included a full service too.

My 2.2 also has the waterpump changed at £25+ vat but only necessary for 4 pots.

If you find anywhere nearer I could meet you at Dobies at J44 to get the kit on TC - just send me a PM.
