Service and MOT, ideas on price of service parts.
« on: 28 March 2009, 21:06:53 »

Hello All,
I've booked my Omega in to a trusted garage local to me for MOT and service on the 2nd on April. I've allreeady bought some genuine 10w-40 oil. Changed the pollen filter recently. So am I right in assuming I'll only need to get air, oil and fuel filters, new spark plugs, sump washer and coolant? I want to get genuine vauxhall parts. Anyone know the prices with and without tc? And is there anyone near to oxford with a tc who'd be able to help me out? Vehicle is 2002 Omega 2.2 CDX manual with engine type Z22XE. I have had a look through previous posts, so I do apologise if this has been asked recently.

I'm not confident in my ability to diy it. Jamescdxv6 kindly offered to help me out, but I've been away for the last 4 weeks and had no internet access to contact him. So seeing as it needed the MOT on the 2nd I thought I might as well get a service done which is due around now anyway.
Thanks for your reply TheBoy, gives me a good idea of prices.
