Watched it and thought it was a great race, the cars look bloody awfull now, but the best man won, Button is such a smooth driver and has shown that given the car he is among the best there is.  :y

Was it just me that thought some of the cars were going along on their noses with the front wheels raised off the ground and not turning??!! ::) ::) :D :D :D ;)

Fantastic race for Brawn GP and Jenson Button. :y :y I've always maintained that given a decent car, Button will always get results.
Hamilton also showed just how good a driver he really is to bring a pig handling McLaren home in 4th (3rd) place from the back of the grid.
Great day for the Brits and long may it continue into the season. :y :y

**edit** Have to agree about the cars - ugly as sin with the high narrow rear wing and the enormously wide front wing and those goddam awful wheel covers. :'(

Give it a few weeks and we will have forgot how ugly they are, remember when Benetton raised the nose cone and everyone followed and how we were saying how ugly that idea was!!

Agreed, but these are going to take some getting used to - trouble is they look completely out of proportion. :-/

back when I used to watch it, every new idea made cars look odd - raised nose, narrower, gradual narrowing of wing, side wings, barge boards etc - but we soon got used to it.

I still think they need to radically reduce wing downforce - once again, virtually no overtaking despite the new rules...

I think there may be a bean counter at honda japan getting the elbow tomorrow, first race without the Honda name/engine and they wipe the floor with everyone, the hundreds of millions Honda have spent over the years finally paid off at the first race after they pulled out. ::)

You need to remember that Brawn now has a Merc engine ;)
......coz thats all they could get, there wasnt anything wrong with the Honda engine,it was the rest of the car that was shite, but Ross  Brawn has been working on this years car for 16 months which is why last years car was woefully underdeveloped and dog slow. ;)

Wait a minute, Hamilton now declared last for lying?!

Some geezer called Michael Schumacher promoted to fourth despite not actually being in the race.

Jarno Trulli got his silver plated Toyota Hubcap trophy back.

Still time for it to all change before Sundays race or the appeal or the counter appeal or the....................

You have got to laugh!
