help with corsa

hello, i have a problem with the girlfriends corsa, its sound like it wants to stall on idle, and lights dim up and down when idling
a mechanic (suposedly) done head gasket not been right since

any ideas?, idle control valve?, timing out?, blocked breather?

So that will be the 16 pin diag plug then? (in the fuse box IIRC)

i think so, its either in fusebox or when i used to have one it was in the center below the heater controls, does the paperclip test work on it??

Yep :y Short out pins 4 or 5 & 6 and switch ign to red lights, same as the mig. Post up the codes and I'll translate :y

It'll be different as it's Pnnnn codes, so no start sequence code. No flashes = no codes stored. :y

i would check valve timing may be one tooth out on cams . :-/ as a guess

Has the earth strap been disconnected from the block / gearbox?

thats what i was thinking, when the head gasket was done the rocker cover wasnt cleaned out properly will clean out today and set timing up if its possible.
i suspected idle valve but thats ok.
