i relised that after i took the rocker cover off, how do i set it up?,

You set it by removing the timing cover, slackening the chain tension and moving it around a few teeth.

Seeing as you have dived in pulled the cam cover, check the timing.

Align the mark on the crank pulley with the one on the timing ase (its at about the 2.00 position).

Now check the camshafts are correct by looking at the slots in the end of them at the gearbox end....they should be in line
