both the car driver and biker guilty..But biker does not have to go that fast.. And sure he was not awake ..No brakes  :o

Seen similar situations and not such a lucky outcome... On the legendary A339 near Lasham! :o :'(

If he had been looking further than his front wheel he could have at least slowed down a lot if not come to a complete stop.

I saw a very similar accident in France a couple of years back. Guy on a big bike passing a bus stop teaming with school girls in the morning. Gives it a fistful and waves at the tottie without noticing the car pulling across the 4 way junction ahead. Smack!

Same cause as far as I can see. Way, way too fast for the conditions and not paying attention. :(
