Went out on the bike today!
« on: 12 April 2009, 20:05:49 »

Joined a local biker forum a while back, and went for my first ride out with them today!  And what a day...

Left mine at 9am, and got back about 7:30  ;D  All in I reckon I did about 220 miles, all through Wales.  There were 2 other 125's so I wasn't always on my own, the others would go off have a play, but they always marked the junctions and waited for the tail-enders before moving on which was nice :)

Makes me want to get my DAS done and out of the way so I can get on the bigger bikes and play myself :)

Took some piccies, made a GPS track (although my battery died when we got back to Bala), its all good!!

Just added some more pics (altho the GPS positions are messed up on the new ones...) I didn't even think I'd done as far as I had until I looked at the track & added on the journey home from Bala  ;D

i have trouble doing 100 mile trip on my 660 cc  :o

Went for a blast to Banbury yesterday with TB, turned out we did a 60 mile blast though the lanes, very enjoyable ride out.

Keeps reminding me we should do an OOF biker meet up  :y

Looking at your map Paul, Burton on Trent sounds like a good place to meet up?

Bet he could show me a thing or to with him on a Pan!

Humm Burton on Trent says 75 miles from here for me (not going the direct way)

Most i have done is 90, was starting to feel it then, that said that was before i had the zorst fix, which has resulted in a lot less vibration

Get a few miles under your belt first your arse and wrists will get used to it. Then organise something, just a nice ride out nothing daft :y

60 miles in the opposite direction of Bala  ;D But does look do-able :)

Don't forget though, the CG is slooooow, and I can't do motorways...
