This is nice:

Started with either a lot of effort and a fag end or a 12 gauge cartridge!

Nice......

It's a 2 stroke I think
There is a Barn full of vintage Tractors from around the world in Reading with more awaiting restoration in the field
I play Barn Dances there every year when they get moved out for the evening
Last year the owner had an American Fire Truck as well, complete right down to the axes that cost £600 on e-bay (& £2k to get it shipped over to the UK)

Is that picture of yours Martin taken in a 1960's scrap yard specialising in breaking railway engines? :-? :-?

I think I can see up to three diesel shunters and one steam locomotive (unrebuilt W.C. or B.B?) with the boiler under a canvas sheet, along with possibly an ex-tender snow plough. 8-) 8-)

If so, do you know which scrapyard? :-? :-?

Correct, a 2 stroke Field Marshall single horizontal cylinder with a
200mm bore and 260mm stroke!

I coped as it was a duff photo in black and white.

Had it have been in full technicolor showing off the rusty yellow, I may have had a little accident

The print is superb but I couldn't find it and my scanner is not brilliant as scanning film stock

a long stroke 2 stroke single like that needs every ounce of its chunky flywheel, I would think...   ;D

Thanks Martin! :y :y :y

But, why were you  angry about me asking the question?? :o :o :-?

As a matter of interest 35006 spent 18 years and 3 months at Barry scrap yard after withdrawal from BR service in 1964, before being taken to the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway for restoration. ;)

You didn't answer my question though:

What have I done to upset you? :-?
