Right

I for one am gettinga  little tired of the fact that some can not recognise that we are all different.

Its time we accepted this and stopped the bickering

Frankly no as I used it for two years and found it was not for me! ::) ::)

I think it is an age thing! :D ;)
[/highlight]

How old are you? Sure it shoudlnt be lizzie zimmerframe?

lol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  No, but I do think once yo are past 25, or at least 30, sites like Facebook become far less appealing! ::) ::) :D :D ;)
Age has nothing to do with it...
i find some of these comments a little offensive, i'm 34 and a trucker, so i'm not in the older bracket or the teenager bracket.
I use facebook to keep in contact with family and friends around the country.
Just because you may not have enough friends to warrant a facebook page doesn't mean that other users should be tarnished with the same brush !!! >:( >:( >:(

Lizzie has simply expressed her opinion. In no way  has she been unpleasant or insulting in what she has had to say.
But ,I do think that your comments regarding Lizzie as having no friends has been said with a certain amount of venom.
Not nice ,not necessary and not needed. :-/  :-/ :-/ :-/ :-*

Thanks Dusty!! 8-) 8-) :y

No Kris he did not say "no" friends, but what he said was bad enough.  In anycase, emotions aside, what are these "friends" who fill a page on Facebook (don't forget I have, and still have them!!)?  They basically are people just 'collecting' other people to see who can collect most!! ::) ::)

Yes many will be known to you, and be great physical friends, but the vast majority of possibly hundreds you will collect you will never know!!

Once more, I am NOT knocking it, but it is just not for me, especially since they redesigned  the Fb site. ;) ;)

Being a relatively fresh face on this forum (if not in real life) :( I have always found Ms Zoom's comments to have been balanced, informative and amusing :) indeed this forum benefits from such a rich collective of opinion.

Regarding FB I would have thought that in todays surveillance society the less we revealed about our personal circumstances, the better :-X

Please don't do anything too rash Ms Zoom, this forum would the poorer without you :y :y

Yes, that is very true!  People have already lost their jobs, and tenants (bad ones though!! ::) ::)) evicted from their home due to their entries on Fb!! :o :o ;)

Sometimes I am sure some of us say too much on the OOF!! ::) ::)  Never know who is watching, and recording! :D :D ;)

i haven't got a downer with facebook, maybe a little where everyone seems to treat it with the regards that it is only for kids, or a competition to see how many friends you can get.
